Urban Cloud

This privileged opportunity is seen as the chance to add a new Public Space to the city of Milan. 

Initially designed to function as the Government Headquarters, Gio’ Ponti’s high- rise soars above the urban landscape as one of the few vertical buildings, thus gaining vistas from both the in- side out and outside in.

The proposed “Cloud” (one of a series of rising, or rather, descending, nimbi) is conceived as an “adaptable body”, which is designed to act as a transformative space that can be activated at different times and for different events (children space, public gathering, fashion shows, receptions/dinners, staff meetings, etc.)
